Today is the one year annaversary of Alyx breaking her arm. She is celebrating this day by NOT going outside and NOT doing cartwheels.

July 11th is always one of those ‘weird’ days to begin with. This would be my 13th wedding annaversary with Dan. He brought the girls over this morning with Starbucks for me, Tyler and Marina. He wished me a happy Anti-versary.
It’s been a good week with us. He has been taking the girls a lot while he is on break from school.

Today is Shaun’s step-daugther’s birthday. She turns 19 today! Happy B-day Jen.

and on a sad note, if any of you listen to the Don and Mike show you’ll be saddened to hear that Don’s wife Frieda died this weekend in a car accident.
I called Shaun this morning and he sounded a bit bummed out. He told me what happened and said he was really saddened by it.
It’s strange how someone you’ve never met, but hear stories about…becomes a part of your everyday life. Frieda was a constant on the Don and Mike show because Don truly adored his wife and would call her while he was on-air to talk.
My heart goes out to Don and his family and friends. I hope they find comfort in the coming months and years.
