Shhh, don’t tell Shaun i’m on the computer!
Last night I was trying to show Libby the main reason I bought the D70 in the first place.
I tried to explain it and I came out sounding like a pre-schooler talking about my big wheel.
I’m still working on learning how this thing works. I’ve got the internal workings of the D70 down. I can change things in the settings. I have veered away the ‘auto’ buttons and have began programming. I will tell you though, I have some serious learning to do. 9 out of 10 of my pictures come out like shit. I will keep trying though.
So last night I tried to explain, “I want what I am focusing on to be IN focus and everything else OUT of focus.”
The thing I hate; is in order to get these shots last night I had to have it set at these settings:
Exposure: 0.2 sec (1/5)
Aperture: f/4.5
Focal Length: 70 mm
Exposure Bias: 1 EV
ISO Speed: 1600
(if you have flickr, it will let you open the pictures at the largest setting which is ‘friggin huge’ and you can see having the iso at that large of a setting makes the pictures grainy.
I have a feeling Shaun has a setting on this computer that it will start zapping me so I am going to go back to bed. The boy plugged in the Xbox in my room so I should be fine for today.
Anyone bored and want to call me???
