Checked my email today and got a message from our marriage counselor.
“It’s never to late to jump start your marriage…”
My first thought was, ‘ouch’. Then I talked it over with my co-worker and decided that this wonderful counselor needed a reply to her email.
It went something like this:
Thanks for the email all these months later. I’m doing pretty good. If you want to know how my husband is doing you’ll probably have to get in touch with him. You can probably get a hold of him at ‘ with_his_new_girlfriend @ officewhore dot com ‘
I’m thinking I will be taken off her mailing list now.

there really are some very bad counselors out there. I had one of them years ago myself.

I never understood how people can go from married one minute to having a significant other, the next. What a great counselor!
