What I support:
The little boy in our town has Lukemia. His family has been through hell and back and needed some help. I’m honored to say that my friend put together this whole fundraiser and dinner to earn some money for him. I’m also honored to be a part of this community that came together for him.

Something You Sacrifice:
I sacrifice a lot of things. My time, my sleep, my money. It just didn’t seem as important as this one thing I sacraficed many years ago. My friendship. I was young, stupid and on a very high horse.
I gave up a friendship…and that means I lost many, many years of a friendship I had learned to value. I’ve told her I am sorry, but I really just don’t think there is enough ‘i’m sorry’s in this world.
She called me the other day and said, “I just had an urge to call you and tell you I love you.” It’s strange how words can heal certain places in your life that you thought would never feel just right. I love you too, Ruka…more than you’ll ever know.
Something Red:
Well, kinda. It’s one of the more artistic pictures i’ve taken. This weekend I plan on spending some really quality time with my husband. We have no plans after the other parents pick them up for the long weekend.
There is a good chance we might lay in bed, watch movies and eat the whole box of cookies that Maria sent us.

Awe shit! I would have totally played this week if not for my work getting in the way (with a 6 week trial starting next week in LA) You know I would have LOVED to tell everyone again how I support those affected by Epilepsy. Somedays I feel as if I sacrificed the idea of having a “perfect” daughter for one that makes me a stronger human being, and reminds me every day that life is hard, but the smallest accomplishment can be so very huge.
And of course, MY ANGELS red! ARGH!

I didn’t play this week but I love your photos, as usual.
