My mom didn’t answer the phone all day! I tried calling that butthead 4 times today and she DID NOT PICK UP HER PHONE!
It was a ‘I want my mommy’ day today too. I thought we had all our ducks in a row all week long so we would have a great Mother’s Day and the morning started out with the need of a Xanax.
I tried calling my mom in the morning, but she didn’t answer. When I realized my day wasn’t going to get any better I snuck out to call her at my sister’s house thinking she would be over there, but she wasn’t.
Later in the day when I was the height of my irritation I called my mom…and she didn’t answer.
Thank you everyone for the Mother’s Day wishes. Next year will be better. right?

You could have called My Mom. Apparently she waited all day hoping the phone would ring, so when I finally did my daughterly duty at 9pm, she had given up hope.
Oh yes, she did get my card and letter and enclosed items, but “well, there’s nothing quite like hearing a real voice on the phone” spoken with a truly woeful sigh.
However, you helped my own Mother’s Day by posting the lovely photos of a day by the bridge at your Flickr place.
There are times when life is better being a mommy than having one.

May is an ineteresting Month..And WHY the hell would my husband invite my parents over for Mother’s Day dinner that I have to cook? Thinking it would be a nice surprise for me? I see my parents ALL the time. I love my parents but I’m throwing a party for 200 people this weekend and do you think I needed more mess in my house? And more shit to do?
You’re getting married soon..all is going to be great after May…And I have to see in my-laws this weekend so sadly, May couldn’t pass quick enough for me. And for many other reasons..
