WOW! I was intrigued when I flipped by this story and must’ve missed her last name…I didn’t put two and two together until I came here to visit.
I watched the whole thing. It is quite fucked up. Sad. Tragic. I am sad for her family.
They are not giving up hope…..I pray they find her for her suffering family and friends.
The story was good? I haven’t got to watch it yet because it’s not 10pm here yet.
The family didn’t get to watch it before it aired and they were worried what the spin would be.
The woman that was putting the story together sat with the Boyds (Christie’s mom and step dad) during all the prelims. We went to two days of them. I plan on trying to make it to the trial as much as I can.
I love Christie’s family. They epitomize the word “hope”.

darn, i wish i could have seen this but i was workign last night. i love, love, love that you two got the initiative to go searching yourselves, i have always been fascinated by similar stories and often wanted to go and help but never have.
i also carry my camera in my purse at all times in case i see a cool accident. i dont know why these things interest me.
I just coincidentally watched that last night. I hope the family gets answers soon. Living like that is too hard. Was the show fairly accurate?

I read the whole story. I didn’t get to watch the show. It’s sad when things happen and people are unable to get closure. It’s very unlikely that she is still alive. If the Garcia character knows he is going to be charged with the crime, the least he can do it let the family know where the body is, so they can lay her to rest.
