Shaun’s little brother has a way with the women too!

Scott and Sienna

When I met Shaun’s family for the first time I was skeptical that Scott was really Shaun’s ‘little’ brother. Scott is about 5 feet taller and is lacking all hair follicles on the top of his head. Shaun’s dad looks younger than Scott.
I proudly announced to anyone that listened that I had gotten the runt of the family, but the pick of the litter.

Shaun is your typical ‘older’ brother. He still bosses and smack talks with his little brother and sister. Unlike my older brothers, he doesn’t cause bodily damage through flicking. I was a little worried when I saw Shaun picking on his younger brother when we first met.
Scott can crush Shaun with his baseball mitt hands. I was even MORE worried when I heard he was going to have twins.

I didn’t express it out loud, but I thought of the character from “Of Mice and Men”, Lennie. He didn’t mean to crush the little animals, but he was so big…

Sienna

I was wrong…he is super gentle and a very loving father. Layla and Sienna are 5 days old. We went over to their house this weekend to take pictures and fight over which one we got to hold.

Layla was cute, but Shaun’s sister called dibs. So when they get older and everyone wants to know why I have 785 pictures of Sienna and 6 of Layla, I can explain.

Little feet and hands. I swear it seems like yesterday that I was the new mom reminding people to make sure you hold their heads right and keep the socks on so the feetsies stay warm.
Now i’m bummed out because I want new babies. I messed the last bunch up, I wanna start all over!
I’m ready for the staying up all night worrying. I’m ready for the crying. I’m ready for the screaming bath & bedtimes. I’m ready for having to drive around so they’ll fall asleep. I’m ready for the thousands of dollars on clothes and toys.

WAIT JUST A MINUTE…I am STILL doing all of this with the kids I have!

Screw it, at least I don’t have to change the 12 year old’s diaper.
