It is a writing challenge from one of the two lists I am on. I am to come up with 40 things that happened to me in 2004. It really seems like A SUPER LOT to think of, but I might actually get through this.

  1. I sold the Saturn.
  2. I bought the Camry.
  3. I lost my mind.
  4. I am slowly getting better.
  5. Shaun and his two kids moved in March 1st.
  6. I ended a very unhealthy friendship.
  7. I had to take my 7 year old to the hospital because she broke her arm. It broke my heart.
  8. I changed my political party.
  9. I organized all my pictures. all of them. ALL of them.
  10. I bought a new computer.
  11. I bought a new camera. I named it Matty. I don’t know why.
  12. I re-fell in love with the Gingerbread Latte’s from Starbucks.
  13. I have learned tolerance in SMALL doses.
  14. I didn’t get everything I wanted this year. I survived it.
  15. My mom and dad finalized the divorce.
  16. I lost two of my friends. One to Oregon…one to Idaho.
  17. I quit my job.
  18. I got a better one. Sort of.
  19. I am learning that even though I hated it when it was told to me, but life has patterns.
  20. I met a new friend, and she’s really fancy and neat and I like her.
  21. I had a dream MONTHS ago that I killed someone and buried them in the backyard and that dream is still coming back to haunt me. I almost went to jail last night in my dreams because of something I did in a dream MONTHS ago!
  22. I turned 32. THIRTY two? how the hell did that happen?
  23. I now get a weird feeling when something bad is about to happen.
  24. I hate Grant Napier.
  25. Upon having to do Dan’s homework, I learned some pretty cool stuff about black history.
  26. I found out that when i’m sad, I like rootbeer.
  27. OMG! I finally bought a new cell phone!
  28. I adopted two grandmas.
  29. I did not travel AT ALL this year.
  30. I went to a Fleetwood Mac concert with Kara. It was her first concert.
  31. I went to a Kings game. They won.
  32. I thought about TRYING that wakeboarding thing. I didn’t do it though.
  33. I learned the definition of Wanderlust, and it doesn’t mean what I thought it did.
  34. The sound of certain people’s voices makes me want to vomit.
  35. I did not have enough romance AT ALL this year.
  36. I want to be happy again. I want it so bad, I ache.
  37. I broke the curse of the Bambino.
  38. I became a Yankee fan.
  39. I bought my THIRD copy of Kid Rock’s “Rebel Without a Cause”
  40. I need therapy, my friends are not enough anymore.
