My wonderful daughter was in last night’s play and I couldn’t be more proud!!
I love the woman she has become. As a parent all I can say is I can look back at her time in High School and be proud of the daughter I raised and the person she became.
Every time she came on stage, I wanted to cry out of pride. “that’s my daughter right there!” is what I wanted to tell anyone who would listen. Instead I just sat that and tried not to let anyone see how weepy I was.
No one ever told me that being a parent would be this amazing and emotional.
