Auburn Courthouse
Shaun and I went on an adventure today. We drove up to Auburn to walk around old town and get some pictures of the courthouse. I mean, it’s been almost a month since I have gotten in trouble for taking pictures…it was about time to get back on the horse.
Screw City Codes, I want to take pictures!
I’ll admit it. When I take the camera out of the bag I can hear angels sing. I also start humming, “Have I told you lately that I love you.”
Yes, it was a hell of a lot of money to spend, but I am happier now that I have it.
I see the beautiful in the strangest things.
I finally have an outlet for the random things that I think are beautiful. I want to take a million pictures all the time, but I am a bit scared of the, “EXCUSE ME! What are you taking pictures of in here!” comments.
I want to leave the house. I want to grab my camera bag and see what I can find. This is a good for someone who has anxiety attacks and has a slight case of agoraphobia.
I’m happier. That camera completes me. (the new lens and filters would REALLY complete me, but i’m not pushing it)
I even let Shaun play with the camera today. Of course I kept finding cool things I wanted to take pictures of while he was off taking pictures. I just walked around and enjoyed the view. When I got home and downloaded the pictures and I saw the pictures he took, I was so impressed. He took the one of the rocks and a bunch of other ones that came out great.
We stopped at the restaurant across from the courthouse and I had an ice tea.
It was warm out, and so very beautiful. It was a good day to get out of the house and pretend to be normal :)
