I wish we could have spent more time there, but the fog rolled in and it got too cold. We never stepped foot in the water, yet our feet is covered in oil from the oil spill last week that was in the bay.

I didn’t realize how devastating that it was. We were 20 miles down the coast, at the ocean and completely outside the Bay, and we were covered in oil just walking down the beach. I can’t even imagine how bad it is in the bay. It breaks my heart.

The car ride was fine. No one killed each other, but Alyx might be mentally scarred from having to sit between Marina and Kara for two hours while they slapped and giggled each other.
