I’m on book 89 now.  I have hit the darkest the written word has to offer. I have taken a off ramp into another type of book to see if it pulls me out.
I’ve even pulled out my classics and started to reread The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.  I told Shea that we will go to his statue when we get to Dublin and get some photos.  She’s in the middle of Kafka and I think I might even pull that out after I finish this one.  I need to be more immersed into the depth of the word.

My friend told me to look at the beautiful things I am going to see in the coming years.
1. For Shea’s 25th birthday I am taking her and my sister to Ireland for 3 weeks.   Yes, for those of you that know me this is my 3rd trip there.
2. I will get to celebrate Alyx graduating from college with her teaching degree.
3. Kara and Chad’s wedding will be glorious.
4. Italy in 2025 (2024 if I can get my shit together faster after this upcoming trip)
5. Oh, yeah…Taylor Swift floor tickets for the girls will make for a fantastic phone call for me during All Too Well even though Champagne Problems might be my new favorite. I mean, come on Folklore and Evermore just gave me everything!
6. Shea and I are going to see Caamp if we have to drive 5 hours to do it!  If we can find a way to see Hoizer and Tyler Childers I will die happy!
