I had a friend growing up that every single childhood memory has her in it.<br \/>\nSomehow through school we went in different directions. I have always regretted that. <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve regretted not calling people that I have lost contact with, but it wasn&#8217;t until after my visit to Shingletown that I really started thinking about the people that made up my whole childhood.<\/p>\n<p>Trust me, there are A LOT of phone calls I won&#8217;t be making. There are just some people that need to be left in the past. Teresa isn&#8217;t one of them.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, she was bossy. The phrase, &#8220;MY HOUSE, MY WAY!&#8221; still haunts me.<br \/>\nYes,  she got the cool Dorothy Hamill haircut that I BEGGED my sister to give me.<br \/>\nYes, she had the cool canopy bed and her VERY own record player.<br \/>\nAND&#8230;like you all need to hear more&#8230;She had white rollerskates and I had the plastic Incredible Hulk strap on skates.<br \/>\n(how many google searches will I get for &#8216;incredible hulk strap ons&#8217;?)<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m glad I called her. I&#8217;m glad I am going to continue to call her until she takes out a restraining order.<\/p>\n<p>Her sweet voice and laughter has never changed.  It&#8217;s nice to remember old stories and hear new ones.<\/p>\n<p>How about you?
