I said, &#8220;Would you like to go for a hike instead?&#8221;<br \/>\n*more evil laughter*<\/p>\n<p>I made her climb and climb and at the top I told her we could turn around&#8230;and then I made her run the 2.5 miles back to the car.  <br \/>\n&#8220;This is your reward for climbing this wonderful hill!&#8221;  I sang as I ran along without a thought of ever stopping.<br \/>\n&#8220;REWARD?! This is a REWARD? Running is a reward!?&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>When we pulled into the driveway she said, &#8220;If you ever suggest a &#8216;hike&#8217; when I complain about running, remind me to say I would rather just run!&#8221;  <br \/>\nI know she hates trail running, but it&#8217;s been a good couple of days since she&#8217;s had some of the good hurt you only get when you&#8217;re trail running up and down those glorious hills.<\/p>\n<p>I asked if she wanted to do the other 7 on the other side and she declined the offer. <br \/>\n&#8220;No, tomorrow we just run the streets.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>*evil giggle* I found a really cool trail that is paved.
