This is the guys first time putting on a race and I am happy to help him at one of the aid stations. <br \/>\nOn Sunday our running group is running at the Merrell Mud Run. <br \/>\nI&#8217;m beginning to wonder if my body just hates me signing up for these damn things because since my 7 mile trail run the other day I have been having cramps in my legs. It started in my left leg and then moved to both.  I thought it might be shin splints, but I don&#8217;t think it is. Today they are just sore from cramping. Hopefully by Sunday morning they won&#8217;t feel so crunchy.<\/p>\n<p>Victoria and Katie are running in their first 5k at the mud run. I&#8217;m super excited to be running along side of them. <br \/>\nThey are both nervous, and I am too, kinda.  Even though I did it last year. I hate crowds and this one is a big crowd.  The Color Run had so many people, but Lester was there with me and it made it not so scary. He&#8217;ll be running this year for his first time. He&#8217;s going to do fine because he&#8217;s a strong runner and there is something comforting knowing that he&#8217;ll be waiting at the finish line with a muddy hug. &#8230; or at least I hope he is.<\/p>\n<p>Hope you have a great and muddy weekend too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yosemite 2012, originally uploaded by Random and Odd.
