The other day I went to the shoe store to see if I was in need of new shoes, which I firmly believe I DO NOT, but I was told that might be the problem.
\nThe guy was really easy to mess with and I can’t help but mess with an easy target.<\/p>\n
“How many miles would you guess you’ve put on the shoes?”\u00a0 He’s looking at my once very white shoes that are not so white anymore.
\n“No many. 30 last month and before that…uh…not much.”
\nHe’s looking the shoes that I told him I have used only for treadmill use, “Really?” He’s skeptical because there is no way these shoes have only been on a treadmill.
\n“Yeah, really.”\u00a0 I feel the evil streak in me twitch, “Oh, I wear them when I am playing Olympic Soccer and barrel racing.”
\nHe looks up at me, “oh yeah…that will do it.”
\nI couldn’t help but laugh, “no, I’m kidding.”\u00a0 He looks at me not amused.
\n“Well…they look pretty worn.” Master of the obvious points out.
\n“OH…I know why. I skydive in them.\u00a0 That’s probably it.”
\nHe looks up at me with a look that is screaming, “I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR YOUR HUMOR!”
\n“No, this time I’m not kidding…I really do….and I suck at sticking my landing.”<\/p>\n
