As a parent all I can say is I can look back at her time in High School and be proud of the daughter I raised and the person she became.<\/p>\n<p>Every time she came on stage, I wanted to cry out of pride. &#8220;that&#8217;s my daughter right there!&#8221; is what I wanted to tell anyone who would listen. Instead I just sat that and tried not to let anyone see how weepy I was. <\/p>\n<p>No one ever told me that being a parent would be this amazing and emotional.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kara is in a play, originally uploaded by Random and Odd.
