We went to the bank yesterday to open her a bank account and while we were waiting for the woman to finish up we followed Alyx and Shea’s suit and played “Rock, Paper, Scissors.”\u00a0 She said, “Not lizard and Spock though…I don’t know how that one works!”<\/p>\n
I insisted I would tell her the truth.\u00a0 I threw Spock, she threw rock.\u00a0 “I win.”\u00a0 She raised her eyebrows at me and I instantly began to look guilty. “MOM! You could say that every time and I wouldn’t know!”
\nWe laughed and decided to play again.<\/p>\n
“ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS, LIZARD, SPOCK!”\u00a0 and Kara throws her hands into prayer and says, “JESUS.”

\n“Mom, Jesus trumps your Lizard. Jesus trumps everything.”
