I began the password protect for my site. I wrote a couple of posts. I couldn’t do it anymore. It just didn’t feel right.<\/p>\n

Dan is out of town this week so I am not only ‘soccer mom’, i’m now ‘karate mom’ too.
\nThey go twice a week with their dad who also attends the adult classes.\u00a0 In the beginning they would show me their kata. It use to look like a cutsie little dance.
\nNow they are brown belts and their kata is choreographed movements that represent all that they have learned and trained for.\u00a0 It’s amazing to watch them as they use their mind and body together.
\nI can only remember once dance and it’s the electric slide. I know they don’t get that sort of mind and body discipline from me.<\/p>\n

Each girl is different in karate class.\u00a0 Alyx is very precise with her movements. You can see in her eyes that she is thinking of the next move while she is effentially preforming the one at hand. Each movement is exact.
\nShea is much the same, but the look in her eye is different.\u00a0 She is determined to not only have the movements exact, she is working on executing the movement with power.\u00a0 To her her, it’s not just movements.<\/p>\n

I always wonder what activities I have my kids in now, they will take into their adulthood and use them.\u00a0 I raced BMX bikes and use to shoot guns every weekend.\u00a0\u00a0 As you can see, I use none of those talents.\u00a0 I’m not saying I was the most talented BMX racer. I was always afraid of ‘catching air’. It use to give me butterflies when I started going too fast.
\nNow target shooting, THAT I liked. THAT I was good at.
\nI sort of wish my dad would have told me, “Hey, you’re pretty good at this…you could do this…” and gave me some sort of direction.\u00a0\u00a0 It was just a hobby though.<\/p>\n

Alyx loves crime shows and figuring things out. Shea loves animals and has plans on saving the animal world.
\nI’m doing my best to try to help them find direction.\u00a0 Pointing out their strong points. Showing them how to use their passions in their future.<\/p>\n

Ever wonder what your kids are going to turn out to be?
\nIf I had to guess; Kara will be a reporter.\u00a0 She will take her passion for fairness and try to help people and will always have this desire to have her words heard.
\nAlyx will work for the FBI.\u00a0 I can’t go into anymore than that because the FBI might actually be scouting her right now and I don’t want to blow her cover.
\nShea will travel to some far off land and learn many things about animals and the care of those animals. She may chose to stay local and work at a zoo.\u00a0 In some way she will work towards saving animals.<\/p>\n
