I sacrifice a lot of things. My time, my sleep, my money.\u00a0 It just didn’t seem as important as this one thing I sacraficed many years ago.\u00a0 My friendship.\u00a0 I was young, stupid and on a very high horse.
\nI gave up a friendship…and that means I lost many, many years of a friendship I had learned to value.\u00a0 I’ve told her I am sorry, but I really just don’t think there is enough ‘i’m sorry’s in this world.
\nShe called me the other day and said, “I just had an urge to call you and tell you I love you.”\u00a0 It’s strange how words can heal certain places in your life that you thought would never feel just right.\u00a0 I love you too, Ruka…more than you’ll ever know.<\/p>\n

Well, kinda.\u00a0 It’s one of the more artistic pictures i’ve taken.\u00a0 This weekend I plan on spending some really quality time with my husband.\u00a0 We have no plans after the other parents pick them up for the long weekend.<\/p>\n
There is a good chance we might lay in bed, watch movies and eat the whole box of cookies that Maria sent us.<\/p>\n
